Camp Wild Life hires year-round for a variety of positions for our after-school and summer camp programs.

Camp Wild Life Summer Camp Counselor Positions

(We hire for summer camp from February through April)

Position Overview: Summer Camp counselors are an integral part of creating memorable experiences for our campers in fun and engaging ways. You are responsible for leading groups on field trips, organizing supplies, teamwork, and personal growth all while creating lasting memories for campers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise daily field trips to parks, hikes, fun activities, sporting activities, and swimming.
• Encourage nature exploration, create, and implement art and science activities, and promote physical activity and skill development.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where our campers can create lasting friendships.
• Serve as a positive role model for our campers by demonstrating respect, responsibility, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership to ensure schedules, smooth transitions, positive interactions, and a successful camp experience for all.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Passion for conservation and the outdoors desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills
• 1^st aid and CPR training preferred.
